Absolutely off-topic in my blog, but as I am proud of my discovery...

I was annoyed that although I could read on the packaging without sugar, the commercially available soy, oat and almond drinks nearly all contain sugar!

Enzymes are added during the production of these drinks in the factory, which partially converts the starch into sugar. These added enzymes cause the long-chain sugars to break down into individual sugar building blocks.

But because the manufacturer of the product does not add sugar, he does not have to indicate it on the packaging. Great, right?
