I can still exactly remember when I first drove the road to Famara in 1992... after Teguise I turned right, at that time still without roundabout, and because the weather was so clear and beautiful, the Famara Bay and the beach seemed to be so close... nevertheless, I felt this will be endless, the ride on this street with my borrowed Seat Marbella...

Video taken at the entrance of the Saudade Bungalows

Well, at some point I arrived at the beach and was totally impressed. The waves, the sea, the wind, the rugged Famara rocks, somehow all the elements that make up this island come together here. I am more of a human being, who holds back with statements about special energies etc... that are supposed to exist in some places. But if there is another place on Lanzarote besides the Fire Mountains that you absolutely must see, then it's the Famara Beach! After that we can talk about energies... laugh... :)

Why was I at Famara? Yeah :) the Saudade bungalow now with 3 bedrooms and up to six persons: Bungalow Saudade

Also in Famara: Apartment da Vinci
