after it came to heavy rainfalls on Lanzarote during tyhe last days, this afternoon the sun was shining again, as our webcam - photo of about 5PM shows. On the first photo you can see a small waterfall, formed in an otherwise dry Barranco, the Barranco Las Piletas, which springs in the mountains near El Mojon. The image of flowing water on Lanzarote, even long after the rain has stopped, is... read more...

This very nice decorated canarian patio you can see on the first photo, is part of a very luxury apartment, situated directly at the famous sandy beach of Famara. In this holiday home can live up to 6 persons, if you combine both, the da Vinci apartment and the la Paloma studio. There is also a large, private, wooden terrace, which is perfectly wind sheltered by a glass wall, and... read more...

There is a real village life among the Lanzaroteños, and we continental Europeans also like it very much to mix up with the local people. The Saturday market in Haría and Los Jameos del Agua, but also just the villages Arrieta, Punta Mujeres, Órzola and others invite to make great excursions. We... read more...

...brand new, I've just made some photos yesterday afternoon, Casa Gecko is newly renovated ! It's a wonderful romantic retreat, high privacy, about 200 meters from the Ocean and the tidal pool, with sea Views from the apartment. The apartment has 2 terraces, one of them in direct sunlight and the other covered by a roof. There is one bedroom, so that up to 2 persons can stay here comfortably. Casa Gecko is... read more...

Wednesday and Friday evening you can visit a small market in Pueblo Marinero, in Costa Teguise. It is a very nice way to spend the night among the market stalls, shops and bars, because while you're doing a walk you can sit down right there and stay for dinner. The Pueblo Marinero is the central square of Costa Teguise, created by César Manrique (†1992), architect and artist from Lanzarote. Well, at... read more...

You can see right below our complex Las Piteras and Evanatura, and in the picture's center at right the small complex Charco Natural, both in the first line to the Ocean. Also our tidal pools is seen at the bottom right of our picture. Most of the bungalows and... read more...
